Lied Discovery Children’s Museum revealed its new featured exhibition, Smokey Bear & Woodsy Owl: Home Sweet Home, on Saturday, June 4, with an interactive, collaborative grand opening event. The legacy of a beloved friend lives on, providing smiles to many local children By Regina Arnold During her reign as Mrs. Nevada-America 2010, Susie Monahan founded Project Teddy, named after a close friend she lost 11 years ago to leukemia, Ted Priestly.
