Las Vegas: On Monday December 23rd, Subway is joining forces with The Shine Family Foundation’s to create the Shine Foundation’s Subway Santa program to feed homeless veterans and other people in need at the Salvation Army Campus at 39 West Owens Avenue starting at 2:45 PM.

“We are so happy that Donna Curry from Subway approached Shine to give back to our community by offering to provide Subway sandwiches to those who depend on the Salavtion Army for a second chance,” said Rowena Baraan, founder of Shine Family Foundation.

Donna learned about Shine through Tripple Platinium R & B recording artist, Al B Sure who performed at the ‘Dressed to Thrill’ Shine Foundation fundraiser in October and is one of the biggest supporters of Shine Family Foundation.
“When I heard about Shine’s cause, I asked Al how I can help the foundation,” said Curry. “Together we thought we would provide subway sandwiches to show our support for their sacrifices” she added.

Subway will be donating 1000 sandwiches to the people at the West Owens Campus on December 23rd.

The media is welcome to attend and speak with Al B Sure and or representatives of Shine Family Foundation, Subway and the Salvation Army.

Thank you to Evan Louie with Kona Ice for being a sponsor.
