Debbie Hall HeadshotThis is our biggest issue to date and I am honored to be the editor-in-chief for our Doctors of Desert 2014 with bonus Wedding section. Many of the doctors and medical professionals I have met are incredible with not only their education and skills but also compassion and genuine caring. Whether you are a bride, groom, bridesmaid, groomsman or part of the family and friends; weddings are to be celebrated and I wish I were getting married after seeing the fashions and venues. I am especially touched by the renewals of Ruth and Jack Lauber.

Fall is a time of harvesting what we have planted throughout the year. I have seen the growth of Southern Nevada and its rebound from economic crisis. The women of Las Vegas continue to amaze me with their devotion, dedication and inspiration and I love having them in the magazine. I see hope, confidence and a real commitment to continue on the path of success.

If you are in the mood for a trip, we have highlighted some wonderful options, either as a staycation, enjoying wine country or venturing to a foreign land. As for dining, with football season here, fun new places have opened up to enjoy with the sports lovers in your life (including you). A taste of the tropics is here in Las Vegas on the Strip at Jimmy Buffet’s Maragaritaville. We are featuring Devotion Vodka with some fresh flavors and Lee’s Liquors offers great ideas for wine in the fall.

As always, we are looking to educate, entertain and inspire. With all of our wonderful people, places and products; I am especially proud of this issue and I look forward to sharing it with you, the reader. Enjoy the fall season – winter will be here soon enough.
