300 K-5TH GRADE STUDENTS RECEIVE GIANT HOLIDAY GIFT BAGS

THE NEW TROPICANA LAS VEGAS EMPLOYEES ADOPTED 100 OF THE KIDS

Day of Delivery…300 Holiday Bags Delivered to Community Children-In-Need!

This is the sixth year for the Las Vegas Hospitality Association (LVHA) “Fill A Bag
With Cheer” operation that requires months of preparation and hundreds of volunteers adopting children-in-need. This year 300 kindergarten through fifth graders at Richard C. Priest Elementary School have been adopted and will receive jumbo bags filled with shoes and socks, a winter coat, a sweater or shirt, blanket, toys, books and other items. The New Tropicana Las Vegas employees adopted 100 of the kids.

Richard C. Priest Elementary School is 86 percent free at-risk lunch and Title 1 status. It was recently selected as a ZOOM school with estimates that 83 percent of these children are homeless.

Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, 1:00 -3:30 p.m.
Children will receive their bags organized by grade.
