ROSARITO BEACH, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO – The Rosarito Beach Hotel & Spa, the region’s largest and most famous beachfront resort, has been chosen best lodging in the city by readers of the Baja Good Life Club publication.

The award for best lodging in Rosarito was announced this week by the travel and discount club which was formed in 2007.

“We’re very grateful that members of the Baja community have chosen us for this honor,” said Rosarito Beach Hotel & Spa owner Hugo Torres. “We strive to be an excellent lodging option for visitors as well as a center for entertainment, events and community activities.”

The 2014 winners included more than 60 Baja businesses for “embodying excellence and providing client satisfaction within their industry and community,” according to a Baja Good Life Club media release. Almost 18,000 votes were cast.

The complete list of winners is on www.bajagoodlifeclub.com. The award comes as the resort, with 500 rooms and suites, prepares to celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2015 and just completed one of its busiest summers ever.
