Star of Animal Planet’s “TANKED”

  1. Walk us through a typical day in your shoes.

I’m usually up pretty early, 5 a.m., and coffee is a necessity before I head out to the shop unless I’m traveling for filming, then coffee is an all-day event. First thing I tackle are my emails and any fires that need to be put out. Next, I do all my banking which then leads me check the status of our sales: who’s selling what, what’s being built, what’s shipping out. I do a lengthy walk around in our fabrication warehouse to see exactly where we’re at with all our projects. I’ll stop in our retail department and check out where we’re at with our merchandise and what needs to be ordered. Once I finally make it back to my desk, then the revolving door starts. There’s really hardly a time when I’m in my office alone until around 7 p.m. At that time, I put all the information of that day in its place, walk out the door around 8:30 p.m., enjoy my drive home to eat dinner with my wife Heather and my two little girls, Taylor & Morgan. It’s pretty hectic, but I wouldn’t give it up for the world!/li>

  2. Have you ever purchased any As Seen on TV items?

    Yes, an expandable garden hose.

  3. If you could destroy a grade-school photo of yourself, what year would it be and why?

Back in the 9th grade, a couple of days before our school pictures were to be taken; my two buddies and I thought it would be a great idea to shave our heads. I was the first one up and I did it. My two buddies, on the other hand, chickened out and left me there with a bald head. Let’s just say those school pictures did not turn out well.

  4. While grocery shopping, what is your stick-in-the-cart-when-no-one-is-looking item?

Ice cream, any kind and whole milk.

  5. If we were to look through your iPod or iPhone, what is on your hit list or playlist or favorite app?

    Candy Crush and Classic Rock

  6. Do you ever play “tourist” in Vegas? If so, what is your favorite thing to do?

Occasionally, but I don’t usually head out to the strip, I don’t drink or gamble, instead I visit the Hoover Dam, Mt. Charleston, any place outdoors.

  7. What do you do to unwind and relax?

Besides driving fast cars, I love to scuba dive or fish when the opportunity pops up. I’m also a neat freak, so cleaning and organizing is something I actually do to unwind and relax.

  8. Does anyone ever mistake you for someone else?

Every day, all day, Kevin James from the “Kings of Queens.”
