Beli Andaluz: Bringing the beauty of the holiday season to everyone

The holidays and New Year are a time for joy, giving thanks and giving back. No one knows this better than Beli Andaluz. As the owner of the award-winning Pico Madama salon in Summerlin and an active member of the community, she has the chance to share the joy of the holidays with people from all walks of life.

At Pico Madama, this means helping her exclusive list of clients shine during this special time of year. Her clients include high-powered professionals, philanthropists and even a few celebrities.

No one is more qualified to help them look their best during the holidays than Andaluz. She recently attained the hair color industry’s most prestigious title: Master Color Expert. After an intensive course of study over 18 months at the Wella Institute in Los Angeles, she became one of only 176 professionals in the country to earn the Wella Master Color Expert designation. Now she’s implemented a training program to share her elite knowledge with the Pico Madama staff.

So whether it’s a new color, a new style or a special look for a holiday party, Pico Madama is the place to go during this special season.

Andaluz’s commitment to serving others is not limited to her high-end clientele. Pico Madama has a long history of providing free services and financial support to organizations like The Shade Tree Shelter and the Nevada Children’s Center. Andaluz also sits on the board of The Shade Tree, where she chairs the fundraising committee. In this capacity, she’s helped raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the organization and organized several events.

But what excites Andaluz the most is helping children during the holidays. In addition to raising funds, she is a regular presence at The Shade Tree Shelter. Her constant smile and unbridled enthusiasm bring joy to everyone around her, and she lavishes special attention on young people at the shelter during the holiday season.

“I come from a very humble background in Guatemala—the youngest of 10 children. We never had much, but we learned to get by. Now that I have a successful business here in Las Vegas, it brings me joy to be able to give back,” Andaluz said.

Pico Madama has been a big success in Las Vegas, but it is just one of six successful businesses Andaluz has started in three different countries. Her entrepreneurial accomplishments were recognized this September with a BIBO (Beauty In/Beauty Out) Award. She was one of 11 Las Vegas women to be honored as role models because of their great works, community contributions and entrepreneurial success.

Along with her accomplishments and awards, Andaluz still likes to indulge and splurge during the holiday season. She loves to share this with her clients at Pico Madama. The high-end, elegant salon is filled with flowers and decorations for the holidays. Anyone walking through the door can’t help but get in the spirit. For a special style, New Year makeover or luxurious hair treatment, come on in and shine!
