R eceiving a gift is always a treat but some gifts give more than that. With some gifts, people can actually feel the thought, kindness and care that they are intended to bring to the recipient. Two years ago, Amanda Graham decided that every gift, big or small, would bring with it the magic of the intention in which it was sent. Graham brought her vision to life by opening
I ❤ Baskets. A bubbly, kind and compassionate person, each gift carries a little bit of her charisma. Graham puts all her energy into
I ❤ Baskets and looks forward to continuing to do so as they grow in 2017.
“I am from a very small town in Texas and making people feel good was our way of doing things. Both of my parents were small business owners. Growing up, my mom ran a small ceramic and gifting company. Watching her create special gifts and seeing the smile on someone’s face when they received something special and customized is so wonderful, I wanted to bring that same experience to my business,” she explained. Graham originally was moved to Las Vegas 10 years ago when her career in business development for a medical center required her to live in Southern Nevada. With so much to purchase and create in giving gifts and baskets for the medical center she noticed the need for true craftsmanship and care in the gifting market.
Drawing on her past career as a sought after make-up artist she found that her eye for design lent itself beautifully to this endeavor. From Graham’s garage in her new home in Las Vegas grew an amazing and unique gifting business. The baskets got bigger and better, the business grew and Graham feels good about her contribution to our community.
“Just like when I was a child in Texas, I get to see and hear about the smiles on people’s faces when they receive one of our customized gifts or baskets, is so fulfilling,” she said.
Graham takes pride in hand packaging and hand selecting her items. I ❤ Baskets gets to know the recipient through the eyes of the giver, they will find out as many details about the recipient as possible and will search for those unique items to amuse and excite the recipient. All baskets are designed to express a message of love and care. In fact, even the clever containers the gifts arrive in are meant to be kept and used after the gifts are enjoyed.
Graham too has endured her own personal battle with thyroid cancer this past year. After having it surgically removed Graham immediately turned her attention back to being of service to others. Graham will begin her partnership with American Cancer Society beginning 2017. She plans on hosting events and designing creative baskets to express her gratitude in its support. “I feel good and I know I am making a full recovery.”
Graham holds a degree in marketing and has worked extensively in the medical field.
I ❤ Baskets has the expertise to work with medical and legal practices as well as other executives to bring thoughtful, memorable gift giving to businesses as well as the person-to-person market.
With the opening of her brick and mortar store, Graham worked to make it warm and inviting, a place that is an extension of a gift basket, unique and special to everyone.
