Girl Scouts Of Southern Nevada held its Dessert Before Dinner gala at Caesars Palace with over 700 of the city’s top influencers and community leaders attending. The Dessert Before Dinner chef pastry competition showcased all of the desserts made with S’Mores Girl Scout Cookies. Chef Mei Shimizu, Aria Resort Casino Las Vegas, won the competition with her playful interpretation, the S’More Glace Ice Cream Bar. Second place was awarded to Chef Michelle Flores, Caesars Palace and third place was given to Chef Kristen Hutton, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill. Honorees included Debbie Creel, Dr. Souzan El-Eid, Nazanin Ford, Shelley Gitomer, Nancy Houssels, Trina Pascal, Sonja Saltman and Melinda Sheckells. All proceeds benefited the Girl Scouts Of Southern Nevada.
