Dining in Siegel’s 1941 is the classic cool of old Vegas with a modern feel along with chef-driven dishes and specials. Open 24/7, with an extensive classic American menu, curated wine and crafted cocktail list, one can almost feel the presence of original owners Bugsy Siegel and Meyer Lansky. As well as being named after Siegel, homage is being paid with Bugsy’s Burgers featuring charbroiled half-pound burgers including the Lucky Luciano Burger with marinara, caramelized onion, Romano cheese and fresh mozzarella and the Meyer Lansky Burger with pastrami, Swiss cheese, house made coleslaw, pickles and Russian Dressing. Signature items include Roast Prime Rib of Beef Au Jus, seasonal Stone Crab and Matzo Ball Soup with Challah.
A display of archival art and photographs on the walls offer a retrospective of the city’s past. Open in 1941, the El Cortez Hotel & Casino remains the longest continuously operating hotel-casino in Las Vegas.
