Juggernaut Cabernet Sauvignon
This intoxicating cabernet offers bold aromas and flavors of blueberry jam, ripe plum, and notes of black pepper and oak. The palate is dense and concentrated with balanced tannins, dark fruit, and a long, velvety finish. The wine pairs well with everything from pizza and pasta to burgers and beef wellington. Juggernaut is also perfect for those chilly nights. It may be cold outside, but this fierce and fiery red is guaranteed to keep you warm!
Canoe Klinker Brick Brickmason Red Blend
Klinker Brick is a family-owned winery in Lodi, CA with six generations of wine making experience. They are known for producing high-quality wines, especially old vine zinfandel. The Brickmason blend is comprised of 80% zinfandel, 10% syrah, 5% cabernet sauvignon and 5% petite sirah. Intense aromas of blueberry, plum and spice lead into notes of toasty vanilla with firm tannins and bold structure. The name Klinker Brick comes from the unique bricks that grace many of the historical buildings in Lodi. Chosen by Craftsmen architects in the 1920s for their distinctive qualities, including their dark, rich color. They are also more dense and heavier in weight than regular bricks. “Klinker” refers to the unusual sound that they make when banged together. Klinker bricks are rare and highly prized, and so are these stunning wines!
Tornatore Etna Rosso, Red Blend
This old-world Italian red from Sicily is one of those little gems that I recommend to my customers who are looking for something unique that over delivers for the price.
Tornatore wines take root on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, the tallest active volcano in Europe. The fast-draining volcanic soils have ample sunshine, and the vineyards benefit from the rainfall and breezes provided by Mount Etna. The medium-bodied wine has notes of strawberries, Morello cherries, and subtle hints of herbs and earth. Bright acidity and balanced tannins lead to a long, persistent finish. The Tornatore family has been growing grapes since 1865, and their wines truly showcase the pride and essence of this remarkable region.
