Spring is a wonderful time for renewal, rebirth and reinvigorating ourselves. The dreary winter days are long gone, but the sweltering summer days are still weeks away.
Where did I go? Nowhere, I just survived the “fourth trimester,” those first three months of life where your newborn is trying to figure out why they were evicted from their original home only to now have to ask to be fed and changed.
In our spring issue, I announced to the world (ok, Las Vegas) that I was expecting my first child and due in the fall....
It is summertime and a time for vacations, recreation and fun. It is also a time to grow as a person, explore new opportunities and celebrate.
A new year gives us a fresh slate to lay out our goals, words, hopes and more for the year. I encourage you to take time to reflect on what you’ve achieved this year and continue to propel yourself forward.
Spring is truly an inspiring time of year. I am always in awe of our majestic mountains that surround the valley and the flowers that bloom this time of year. I love the promise of a new beginning and the wonder I experience during this season.
I now have officially worked as editor-in-chief for four issues – completing my first year. It has been an exhilarating, exhausting, overwhelming, exciting and amazing time which has taken me to new heights and new growth both professionally and personally.
What a year it has been so far. Grace Grabel came into our lives, and I must admit I am a little envious of all of her adventures so far.
