Summertime and the living is fun
There are many ways we can escape the heat or celebrate the season and whichever you choose, we have you covered. As we wrap up the brunt of allergy season (it was brutal this year, no?), we talk about the benefits of halotherapy (salt therapy), which is said to clear up the sniffles.
Spring is a wonderful time for renewal, rebirth and reinvigorating ourselves. The dreary winter days are long gone, but the sweltering summer days are still weeks away.
In our spring issue, I announced to the world (ok, Las Vegas) that I was expecting my first child and due in the fall....
Where did I go? Nowhere, I just survived the “fourth trimester,” those first three months of life where your newborn is trying to figure out why they were evicted from their original home only to now have to ask to be fed and changed.
It is summertime and a time for vacations, recreation and fun. It is also a time to grow as a person, explore new opportunities and celebrate.
Spring is truly an inspiring time of year. I am always in awe of our majestic mountains that surround the valley and the flowers that bloom this time of year. I love the promise of a new beginning and the wonder I experience during this season.
A new year gives us a fresh slate to lay out our goals, words, hopes and more for the year. I encourage you to take time to reflect on what you’ve achieved this year and continue to propel yourself forward.
I now have officially worked as editor-in-chief for four issues – completing my first year. It has been an exhilarating, exhausting, overwhelming, exciting and amazing time which has taken me to new heights and new growth both professionally and personally.
I invite you to unwind, disconnect, and celebrate you. We would love to hear what you think! Please drop me a line at email@example.com.
