Dr. Laurie Bloch-Johnson has been practicing for over 30 years, creating a beautiful, natural smile for her patients as well as maintaining good dental health.

The Women’s Club of Summerlin held its 20th annual charity event to benefit the Nevada Children’s Center at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa. The “Honor the Past, Embrace the Future” included a luncheon, raffles and silent auction. Local celebrities and entertainment featured Frankie Scinta singing the national anthem and a performance by The Australian Bee Gees.

The Little Things Matter
We all have the big dream or goal that we strive for daily. Perhaps we are looking to make a mark in the industry we work in, receive a job promotion or even pay off debt.

This year has already been a historic year for women in Nevada. We have celebrated the first female-majority state legislature in the history of our country, and locally, we have welcomed Ms. Kyle B. Rahn as the first female president and CEO of United Way of Southern Nevada.

Embracing your value. What does that mean? It means you embrace your worth and you do not allow anyone at any time to treat you less than what you deserve.

From eye health, dental health and women’s health to sexual health and fertility, and hospice and palliative care, we highlight some of the valley’s best in their fields. The Doctors of the Desert bring the best cutting-edge advancements and comforting and specialized care to their patients.

The Goodness Experience, Part 4
A celebration means to acknowledge a significant event, person or time of life. Every moment of your life can be a reason to celebrate.

Recall the last time that you made a mistake. Were you hard on yourself or did you give yourself a pass and recognize that you are a work in progress?

You are used to buying it in a store, smelling it in candles or essential oils and drinking it in tea.

Behind the Scenes
At first glance, this cover image is simply a beautiful photo. Models showed up, glammed-up, and then posed together for that one perfect shot. Looks would be deceiving, however. According to Stephanie Kocher, publisher of Las Vegas Woman magazine, “Never have we gone to the lengths required to ensure safety and compliance as we have for this issue.”
