Brenda Catalan, aesthetician at New Image Advanced Laser Skin Center, has worked in the skin industry for over 10 years. She graduated from G Skin & Beauty Institute as an aesthetician specializing in medical aesthetics. Catalan provides expertise in laser resurfacing, Picoway Tattoo removal, vaginal rejuvenation and hair removal. She is also a trainer for new aestheticians hired at New Image. Catalan is always learning the latest laser treatment techniques and skin care regimens combined with her technical experience and comfortable touch.

A public relations professional with over 15 years of experience, Gina Yager has launched a PR, marketing and special events company, Gina Yager Creative. Yager specializes in strategic public relations and marketing planning and implementation, media relations, copy writing, brand asset creation, promotional partnerships, community relations, grass roots marketing efforts, special event planning and execution. Yager has been recognized with multiple awards for PR efforts in entertainment and image management from industry organizations including the Public Relations Society of America and The Communicator Awards.
Jennece Black is the owner of BlackQueen Productions producing community talent shows, underground music showcases, fashion shows and pageants. She also serves as the director for the Nevada American Elegance Pageant, which recently held its inaugural pageant sending two contestants to national competition. She has directed Disney musicals for a school program for three years, was a finalist for the Heart of Education awards and a recipient of a 2017 RAVE reviews. She choreographed “Can A Woman Raise A Man” stage play. Black also teaches first grade in the Clark County School District.

Nevada Donor Network announced the promotion of Lashunda Marshall as volunteer coordinator. In her new position, Marshall will support the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of the volunteer program. Her role encompasses NDN’s recruitment, training, retention, event coordination and community service support. Before being promoted, Marshall was the human resource generalist for the NDN team. Prior to that, Marshall was an administration assistant for NDN, where she served as the primary point of contact and liaison between management, staff and vendors.

Ritter has been with one7 communications since 2015 and previously served as account executive. The Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce announced the promotion of Greta Seidman to vice president of marketing and brand strategy. Seidman’s responsibilities will include overseeing overall marketing and branding, as well as bolstering the Chamber’s brand through a variety of digital and social platforms. In addition, she will be responsible for developing more targeted and segmented marketing strategies, craft research-oriented projects to determine member needs and cultivate better use of analytics to optimize content strategy for engagement, sales and retention efforts.

Cecile Herve has been hired as the general manager of Hawthorn Grill in JW Marriott. She oversees all aspects of the restaurant from server to cook to management to ensure guests have the best experience. Herve comes directly from Aureole Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino where she served as assistant general manager. Ingrid Reisman, vice president and chief marketing officer, Las Vegas Monorail Company, was named an Outstanding Woman in Travel and Transportation during the 2017 Women in Travel and Tourism International Awards. The awards are the first of its kind in which women honor their peers for outstanding contributions to the travel and tourism industry. The awards were presented during the recent annual U.S. international travel and tourism tradeshow held in Washington, D.C.
The Clark County Medical Society announced that Alexandra P. Silver has been named executive director. She brings over 20 years experience in operations, program management and event planning in the nonprofit and private sectors and nonprofit leadership experience. Silver received her undergraduate education from the Kent State University. Previously, she worked as the director of development at Planned Parenthood.

Carmita Lorador is one of the certified yoga instructors with the recently opened Absolute Balance. Born in Portugal to a generational European circus family, Lorador became a world-class hand balancer, touring aerialist and Cirque du Soleil performer. After an accident in which she was badly injured and several years of physical therapy, she tried yoga. Lorador became stronger and more flexible overcoming the trauma that had rendered her almost incapable of ever recovering. She now teaches yoga which helped her recover physically as well as spiritually.
