Bride and Groom, Jennifer and ChristopherJennifer was a beautiful bride as she walked down the aisle to her groom Christopher at Siena Golf Club. It was the day they had been dreaming about, and because of Wish Upon A Wedding, memories of the wedding and reception will always be cherished by the couple, family and friends.

Christopher had served in the United States Air Force for 22 years; his last position was combat rescue. Five years ago, while serving in Afghanistan, his helicopter was shot down, and he was one of two survivors of seven passengers. He incurred a number of injuries, and his left leg was amputated. Along with physical problems, Christopher also suffers from PTSD.

Bride cutting the wedding cakeMeeting a little over a year ago on Match.com, it was the last day of Jennifer’s membership on the site when Christopher emailed her. They met for lunch, and according to Jennifer, they have been together ever since their first date.

After the couple’s engagement, they were selected by Wish Upon A Wedding. “It was such a blessing. Everyone was so wonderful and they gave us the most beautiful wedding and reception. Adam Fraiser (Wish Upon a Wedding representative) and Bri, our wedding coordinator, are amazing. Everyone made it the most special day for us,” Jennifer said. The couple is now awaiting the birth of their first child.
