Holistic Health And Feeling Good

True healing for the mind/body/spirit connection can be accessed through many various healing modalities and here are some of my favorites:

  • Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
  • Meditation
  • Reiki
  • Healing touch
  • Hypnosis
  • Tapping
  • Sound healing
  • Essential oils

These modalities can help in bringing negative, toxic thoughts and feelings to the surface to begin the healing process. Becoming pain-free through spiritual work requires a deep willingness and awareness to move through the layers and break free of the body’s toxic field.

Emotional pain such as anger, sadness, fear, hurt, and guilt leads to physical pain that gets locked into the body’s tissue, muscles, and cells. The best way that I know to clear out the physical and emotional stressors is to find professional healing facilitators who resonate with your belief system. It’s always prudent to get a personal recommendation from someone you trust. Not all healing facilitators are created equally, and you’ll want to be able to trust your instincts by listening to how you feel inside yourself with them.

Everyone needs some form of healing at some point in his or her life. It’s how people recover well from physical ailments, illnesses, health conditions, mental stress, and emotional pain. It can feel a lot like energized prayer work. When looking at a person’s ability to heal using a holistic approach, the healing is waiting to be recognized from deep down inside each and every one of us. It can exist in a place where someone may not know where or how to retrieve it unless they are becoming more aware of their inner vision of themselves.

Through personal adversities, one can embrace knowledge and can begin to expand exponentially as bright new ideas pop up to have better outcomes and more profound meaning in the world.

What is it like to have a spiritual awakening?

For many, it can be a gentle awareness that their thinking and feelings begin to slowly change the emphasis on things that used to be important to them. For others, the awakening process can feel as if the rug is being pulled out from under them, and life changes within an instant.

The reason the awakening may occur is to bring more compassion and meaning to people’s lives that are in deep resistance to change. If they are living a life without gratitude or appreciation for others, a spiritual breakdown may be brought forth to change deeply formed patterns to evolve and transform. If someone has taken a path that leads to sorrow, an awakening intervention can be what brings him or her back to a path of clarity.

When my awakening took me by surprise in 1994, I found books such as “The Celestine Prophecy” by James Redfield and “Conversations With God” by Neale Donald Walsch. With spirituality being more expanded and openly discussed today, there are many avenues available for anyone feeling alone and isolated.

A spiritual awakening is the soul’s cry for freedom.
