Even before social media, people always assumed that what public face was presented to the world was the reality of that person. “The Realistic Joneses” which was performed on Broadway in 2014, combines comedy and pathos as Bob and Jennifer Jones meet new neighbors John and Pony Jones with identical homes and a common last name. A Public Fit Theater Company will present the play in The College of Southern Nevada Backstage Theatre April 27-May 7.

Her name, Courtney Force, truly fits the drag racer since she is a force to be reckon with on and off the track. Courtney, who lost to her father, John, in the Funny Car finals of last fall’s Las Vegas Strip event, is reversing an early season slump with a strong showing this weekend. “One Night for One Drop” as imagined by Cirque du Soleil is a completely original, one night only production featuring artists from each of the seven resident Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil productions.
